BUILDING COUNTERTOPS FROM SCRATCH Applying our kits over pre-made countertops is awesome because you can make your countertops any shape, length, and even choose how thick the edges look. You can use MDF, particle board, or plywood; just make sure the top is smooth. Once you build your Countertops, Bondo all your seams and screw holes, then sand them smooth.
